At Montage International, the Server Attendant role at The Loft represents an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of a dynamic hospitality team passionate about delivering exceptional food and beverage service. This full-time position involves providing essential support to servers, ensuring the smooth operation of the dining area, and contributing to an outstanding guest experience. Server Attendants are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and readiness of their assigned section, which includes setting and resetting tables, pre-bussing and bussing tables, and handling spills or breakages promptly and safely.

This role also participates in adhering strictly to the company’s standardized food and beverage service protocols, aligning with the venue managers’ and chefs’ expectations to uphold Montage International’s high standards. Working closely with management and service staff, Server Attendants contribute to ongoing operational success by effectively communicating and helping to meet guest needs promptly. The position requires physical endurance, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in hospitality service. The hourly wage for this position is $17.00, exclusive of tips or additional incentive pay.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience in a hotel or restaurant environment with a strong emphasis on customer service and food and beverage
  • Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol
  • Ability to obtain and maintain state-required licenses or certifications such as a food handler’s card and TIPS certification
  • Working knowledge of beer, spirits, wine and dining
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent education required
  • Minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience in hotel or restaurant environment with a strong emphasis in customer service and food and beverage
  • Must be of 21 years of age to serve alcohol
  • Ability to obtain/maintain state required licenses and/or certifications such as Food Handler’s Card and TIPS Certification
  • Have a working knowledge of beer, spirits, wine and dining
  • Ability to speak, read, write and understand English, the primary language used in the workplace

Job Duties

  • Consistently following food and beverage sequence of service utilizing all proper procedures standardized by venue managers and chefs
  • Assisting in providing analytical support and decision making tools to leadership team to help exceed desired business results
  • Setting and resetting of tables before, during and after service periods with clean polished silverware, glassware, share plates and napkins as necessary
  • Pre-bussing and bussing of tables during service period
  • assisting servers with service steps where necessary
  • Cleaning all spills, and broken glassware/dishes immediately, using floor signs when necessary
  • Cleaning of all equipment, tools, and supplies and maintaining equipment in good working order while following all procedures and policies set forth by the company, division, department and County health department
  • Working as a team and effectively communicating with management, servers and service staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and or other associates
