This full-time, non-management Food and Beverage team member position is based in the Lobby Lounge of The Ritz-Carlton Lake Tahoe. It offers a competitive hourly wage of $16.90 and provides an excellent opportunity to be a part of a prestigious hospitality team. The role demands open availability to accommodate day shifts and seasonal scheduling needs. The position involves a variety of responsibilities that ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of the Food and Beverage areas in the lounge. The ideal candidate is expected to manage closing duties meticulously, including securing all goods, cleaning equipment, restocking, and maintaining inventory. There is a strong emphasis on cleanliness and presentation, ensuring all china, glassware, and silverware meet the highest standards before use.

Attention to detail is critical in this role, including the maintenance of work areas throughout the day by practicing clean-as-you-go procedures. Safety and security are also paramount, with requirements to follow company policies, report any incidents, and complete safety training. Job Duties

  • Complete closing duties including storing reusable goods and cleaning equipment
  • Break down goods and return equipment to proper locations
  • Lock refrigerators and doors and complete daily cleaning checklist
  • Set up, stock, and maintain work areas
  • Inspect cleanliness and presentation of china, glass, and silverware prior to use
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day
  • Follow company safety and security policies and report incidents
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 50 pounds
