This position focuses on essential responsibilities crucial to maintaining the high standards for which Renaissance Hotels is known. Key duties include performing evening closing tasks such as properly storing reusable merchandise, dismantling merchandise displays, cleaning equipment and work areas, securing refrigerators, replenishing inventory, and turning off lights. The role also involves ensuring cleanliness and the impeccable presentation of dishware, glassware, and silverware. Daily cleaning checklists must be completed meticulously to uphold the company's sanitation guidelines. Maintaining tidy, fully-stocked work areas throughout shifts is important to operational efficiency. Furthermore, the associate will be required to uphold all company safety policies, report maintenance issues or hazards, complete required safety training, and maintain a professional appearance at all times.

Physical demands include lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 pounds independently, standing or walking for extended periods, and maneuvering through varying surfaces including stairs and ramps. The role demands fine motor skills, good eye-hand coordination, and the ability to engage professionally with guests and colleagues alike. Communication skills are vital, including clear verbal interaction and appropriate telephone etiquette.
