Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food and beverage service preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift trays and supplies
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, club, hotel, or food and beverage experience preferred
- Strong communication and guest service skills required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift trays or supplies as needed
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Greet all guests warmly and professionally while creating a welcoming and engaging dining experience
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently while anticipating guest needs and preferences
- Serve food and beverages promptly in accordance with established quality, presentation, and service standards
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations regarding menu items, beverages, and daily specials
- Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience and respond promptly and professionally to guest requests or concerns
- Prepare food and beverages for service according to established health, safety, and presentation standards
- Clear, clean, and reset tables promptly to maintain a polished and inviting dining environment
- Maintain cleanliness of service stations, dining areas, tables, chairs, walls, mirrors, windows, and floors throughout each shift
- Complete all assigned opening, side-work, and closing duties thoroughly and efficiently
- Process guest payments accurately and responsibly in accordance with cash handling and charge procedures
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and stock levels of all service areas
- Work collaboratively with culinary, stewarding, and hotel teams to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Demonstrate genuine care and enthusiasm in serving guests while creating memorable experiences
- Recognize returning guests and anticipate individual needs whenever possible
- Treat all colleagues with professionalism, respect, and dignity
- Promote teamwork and maintain positive working relationships across all hotel departments
