Job Description
The hiring establishment is a reputable restaurant dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences and maintaining a high standard of service excellence. Known for its warm ambiance, attentive staff, and quality cuisine, this restaurant prides itself on creating a welcoming environment for guests while fostering a collaborative workplace culture for its employees. The establishment emphasizes teamwork, customer satisfaction, and efficiency, ensuring that every guest's visit is memorable and enjoyable. This company operates with a strong commitment to employee well-being, offering a variety of benefits and opportunities for career growth within the hospitality industry.
The role available is that of a Front-of-House (FOH) Service Assistant, a key position that plays an integral part in maintaining smooth service operations. This position involves active communication and cooperation with servers to uphold service efficiency and guest satisfaction. As a vital team member, the individual will be responsible for keeping service stations clean and well-stocked, ensuring all necessary supplies are readily available to support the service flow. Daily duties also include ongoing table maintenance to guarantee a pleasant dining experience for every guest. This position requires a proactive attitude to anticipate the needs of both guests and the server team.
This is a full-time employment opportunity that offers weekly pay, aiming to provide financial stability for employees. The company offers comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance benefits for full-time employees who have completed 30 days of employment, demonstrating their commitment to supporting employee health and well-being. Additionally, the company pays a portion of the elected coverage, helping to reduce out-of-pocket costs for medical care.
Vacation benefits are generous and reward loyalty and tenure, with full-time employees eligible for up to 80 hours of vacation pay annually. After six months, employees accrue five days of vacation, which increases to an additional five days after one year, leading to a maximum of 10 vacation days. Tipped employees receive vacation pay at a rate of 10 dollars per hour, highlighting the company’s fair approach to compensating service staff.
Employees also enjoy a 40 percent discount on meals while working, which can be extended to an employee plus one guest dining together. This benefit not only encourages staff camaraderie but also allows employees to experience the quality of the food they help serve. The company recognizes exceptional performance with an employee of the month program, awarding 100 dollars each to front-of-house and back-of-house staff members, motivating employees to maintain high standards of service and dedication.
Beyond immediate job-related benefits, the company provides employee discounts through LifeMart via the ADP account. These discounts cover travel, hotels, car rentals, and more, helping employees save on personal expenses and enjoy a better work-life balance. This role offers an excellent opportunity for anyone seeking stable employment within a supportive and employee-focused restaurant environment, with numerous benefits aimed at enhancing overall job satisfaction and quality of life.
