The Server Assistant at The Penrose Room supports the servers, captains, and kitchen staff in ensuring seamless and refined service flow during each dining service. This job offers competitive compensation, with a pay range of $25.00 to $38.00 per hour, which includes a base hourly wage plus service charge commission that varies by shift and season. The position guarantees a minimum wage equivalent to the current Colorado minimum rate and provides an opportunity to earn additional income through variable commissions, historically amounting to an average of $20 to $32 per hour in service charge earnings. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Experience working in the Food and Beverage industry
- Flexibly in schedule as it will change often
- Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- In compliance with state liquor laws, must be at least 18 years of age
- Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) with a work environment that may be indoors and outdoors at times
- Reasonable accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities

Job Duties
- Work closely with captains, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service
- Maintain awareness of guest dining pace to ensure timely service and resets
- Present and serve bread to guest in a timely and elegant manner
- Clear plates, cutlery and glassware discreetly and efficiently between courses
- Maintain clean and organized side stations with necessary service tools
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to service request
- Ensure each table is kept clean, orderly, and visually appealing throughout the meal
