The Server Assistant role at NoMI Lounge & Garden is pivotal in enhancing the overall guest experience by supporting the front-of-house service team. This position demands a blend of grace, precision, and genuine warmth, as the Server Assistant ensures that each table is perfectly set, cleared, and refreshed. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum two years experience in upscale or fine dining restaurants
- valid Food Handler certification or ability to obtain before start
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to lift moderate weight
- availability to work evenings weekends and holidays
- strong communication skills
- attention to detail
- ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- minimum two years in an upscale or fine-dining restaurant with a strong understanding of refined service standards
- familiarity with Forbes Travel Guide-level service anticipatory discreet and impeccably polished
- appreciation for fine cuisine ingredient-driven menus and culinary techniques with the ability to speak confidently about dishes
- experience preparing specialty coffees understanding tea varieties and offering thoughtful recommendations and preparation styles consistent with luxury service
- possession of a valid Food Handler certification or ability to obtain one prior to start
