This particular position is a part-time role requiring availability for various shifts, including weekends. As a Margaux Server Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of service duties such as counter service, food running, table service, and managing to-go orders efficiently. You will be expected to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization according to daily checklists and health and safety regulations, including temperature logging, product rotation, and waste management. Understanding the menu's offerings, including ingredients and special promotions like happy hour, is essential for providing knowledgeable recommendations to guests. The role requires a proactive approach to exceeding guest satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and fostering a collaborative team environment.
In addition to guest service, the Assistant Server will actively participate in maintaining the restaurant's operational standards by engaging in regular cleaning duties, side work tasks, and adherence to attendance policies. Strong communication skills are vital as the role involves collaboration with management and team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
