The role of Server Assistant at Kalahari Resorts, specifically for the Great Karoo Breakfast Buffet, is essential in delivering this high standard of hospitality. Job Requirements
- Must have good verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
- Must be self-directed to work independently especially during busy periods
- Prior experience in restaurant, hotel, resort, or customer service environment helpful

Job Duties
- Take dirty tableware to dish room and place silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in appropriate washing areas
- Between seating, promptly clean tabletops, chairs, and booths
- Check floors and clean as required
- Reset and arrange tabletops
- Inspect assigned restroom every 30 minutes and clean, replenish supplies, or alert common area cleaners of problem areas
- Communicate with server and hostess/host to assure efficient seating, table utilization, and customer service
- Be available to fill in as needed to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operation
