Job Description

Caesars Entertainment is a globally recognized leader in the gaming and hospitality industry, celebrated for creating extraordinary experiences for guests across its vast portfolio of resorts, casinos, and entertainment venues. With a rich legacy and a commitment to excellence, Caesars Entertainment operates premier properties that combine luxury, innovation, and vibrant entertainment to provide guests with unforgettable moments. Their mission, vision, and core values emphasize creativity, team collaboration, exceptional service, and social responsibility, making Caesars not only a renowned entertainment company but also a community-focused employer dedicated to supporting economic development and wellbeing for its team members and the regions they serve. The company's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion ensures an empowering and welcoming workplace for all employees, upholding a culture of respect and opportunity.

The Server Assistant position at Caesars Entertainment is a dynamic and integral role within the food and beverage team, designed to elevate the dining experience for guests within the property's restaurants. This part-time position typically starts at $8.50 per hour plus tips, offering team members variable schedules that include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Full-time employees become eligible for benefits after 90 days, and all team members begin accruing paid time off starting from day one. The role centers on providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service by supporting Food Servers and Bartenders. Key responsibilities include setting tables with clean china, silverware, and glassware, clearing dishes promptly, maintaining cleanliness and readiness of the dining area, and assisting with the delivery and presentation of food and beverages.

Server Assistants at Caesars are expected to embody the company’s values by delivering family-style service characterized by warmth, professionalism, and respect. Wearing a clean, complete uniform with proper identification, employees are to arrive punctually and ready to contribute with a positive and eager attitude. This role demands a balance of physical activity—such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods—and excellent interpersonal skills to engage effectively with guests and coworkers. Beyond routine tasks, Server Assistants monitor guest needs discreetly and adjust their pace of service to ensure maximum guest satisfaction. They also assist in promoting casino events and property services, contributing to a vibrant, guest-focused environment that showcases Caesars' commitment to exceptional hospitality.

Success in this position requires foundational knowledge of food and beverage standards, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a genuine desire to create comfortable, memorable dining experiences. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a team-oriented setting and are committed to upholding the highest service standards while supporting the overall mission of Caesars Entertainment to "Create the Extraordinary." By joining Caesars, Server Assistants become part of a renowned brand known for its excellence, with opportunities to grow and develop within the expansive casino and hospitality industry.
