The role of Server Assistant, also known as Bus Attendant, is pivotal to the success of Sonesta's food service operations. Tasked with supporting the restaurant servers and maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of dining areas, the Server Assistant ensures a seamless and high-quality guest dining experience. This position is integral to setting service standards such as timely setup and breakdown of food and beverage stations, assisting servers in clearing tables, refilling beverages, and maintaining a well-organized dining environment. The Server Assistant works closely with restaurant staff, maintaining excellent interpersonal relations with guests and colleagues alike.

Sonesta’s Server Assistants are expected to be passionate and genuinely engaged in guest service, consistently exceeding expectations by anticipating guest needs, delivering the GUEST model of hospitality—greet, use eye contact, establish needs, solve problems, and thank guests—and fostering a respectful, positive workplace culture. With 1-2 years of restaurant experience and strong communication skills, Server Assistants contribute significantly to Sonesta's commitment to exceptional service.
