Job Description

COTE is a distinguished dining establishment renowned for its innovative fusion of Korean Barbeque with the timeless elements of a classic American Steakhouse. Founded and driven by the visionary proprietor Simon Kim, COTE presents a unique culinary experience that combines top-tier USDA Prime beef, complemented exquisitely by an extensive 1200-plus label wine list and an array of expertly crafted classic and creative cocktails. This restaurant prides itself on creating a convivial and interactive ambiance where guests can indulge in premium cuts of meat prepared on smokeless grills embedded at each table. The in-house dry aging room ensures each steak is freshly caramelized to perfection with every bite guaranteeing a consistently exceptional dining experience.

COTE is committed to excellence not just in its cuisine but in the level of service it offers. For those passionate about hospitality and eager to work in a dynamic environment, COTE is currently seeking Server Assistants (SAs). This role is essential in maintaining the restaurant's high standards of customer service, cleanliness, and efficiency. Server Assistants work closely with servers in designated sections of the restaurant to support all aspects of the dining experience. Responsibilities range from clearing and resetting tables, assisting in drink service, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring that all guests receive prompt and courteous hospitality. The role demands excellent communication skills, teamwork, and a professional attitude in a fast-paced setting. This position offers hourly compensation aligned with Nevada's pay transparency law, with wages ranging from $12 per hour.

Individuals will be trained to prepare and serve various high-quality beverages using commercial-grade barista equipment, operate and maintain espresso machines and beverage stations, monitor stock levels, and perform quality control on all drinks served. Additional responsibilities include greeting guests warmly, supporting servers by running drinks, clearing tables with finesse, and contributing to the overall organization and cleanliness of the restaurant’s front and back-of-house areas. The ideal candidates will exhibit a positive, team-oriented mentality, be able to perform their tasks efficiently under pressure, and maintain consistent professionalism.

Moreover, COTE places strong emphasis on adherence to health and safety standards following the guidelines set by the Department of Health, requiring potential employees to hold or obtain necessary certifications such as a Food Handler’s Certification and responsible alcohol service certification. The restaurant supports its employees with continuous training and opportunities for career advancement, reflecting a mutual commitment to growth and excellence. This is a flexible, availability-required role, crucial to supporting both full-service dining and beverage service in a fast-casual upscale environment. COTE values diversity and equal employment opportunities and embraces employees from all backgrounds.
