Job Duties

  • Provide professional, courteous and efficient food and beverage service to all guests
  • Clean and set tables in the dining outlet and perform other related food service tasks including general cleaning and setup
  • Serve water, bread and coffee, greeting guests by name whenever possible during the course of service
  • Stack trays properly for efficient clearing by servers and ensure safety standards at all times
  • Complete closing tasks including storing reusable goods, breaking down items, cleaning all equipment and areas, returning equipment to appropriate locations, locking refrigerators, restocking items, turning off lights, locking doors and completing the daily cleaning checklist
  • Set up, store and maintain work areas
  • Inspect cleanliness and presentation of all china, glassware and silverware before use
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practice clean procedures during cleaning process and comply with health and safety standards
  • Comply with all company safety policies and procedures, ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
  • Welcome and attend to all guests according to company standards, anticipate guest service needs and attend to them, sincerely thank guests
  • Meet quality control expectations and standards
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to achieve common goals
  • Communicate clearly and professionally
  • Read and visually check information in various formats
  • Stand, sit or walk for prolonged periods or throughout a full work shift
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Grab, turn and manipulate objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
  • Move over inclined, uneven or slippery surfaces, and up and down stairs and/or service ramps
  • Reach above head and below knees, including bending, twisting, pulling and leaning
  • Perform other reasonable work duties as requested by Supervisors
