The role available is for a Busser, an essential position within our restaurant team. This is a full-time, operational role that involves assisting in the smooth running of our dining services by ensuring tables are cleared, cleaned, and reset efficiently between guests. As a Busser, you will be responsible for removing used dishes and glassware promptly and carefully, safeguarding the cleanliness of the dining area, and supporting servers to deliver swift and courteous service. This position requires a proactive individual who is energetic and can maintain stamina throughout an active shift. The role also demands strict adherence to appearance standards, including maintaining a uniform and personal grooming to project a professional image that reflects the establishment's values.

Your daily tasks will include clearing tables of used items, scraping and stacking dirty dishes, carrying them to the galley for washing, and ensuring all common areas and service stations are hygienically maintained. You will be expected to clean up any spills immediately, manage the disposal of empty bottles and trash, and reset tables according to the restaurant's style and standards. The ability to multitask and coordinate swiftly with kitchen and waitstaff to keep service flowing smoothly is critical. This role also involves basic upkeep tasks such as emptying trash and maintaining the floor area around tables to ensure safety and cleanliness.

Working in this fast-paced environment will require flexibility in work hours, including availability during all major holidays, to accommodate the restaurant’s busy schedule. The role demands physical endurance as bussers will often stand and move for long periods without breaks. Job Duties

  • Bus used and unneeded dishes and glassware from guests tables to galley
  • scrape and stack dirty dishes, and carry dishes and other tableware to the galley for cleaning
  • maintain the cleanliness and safety of all common areas and service stations
  • clean up spilled food, drink and broken dishes, and remove empty bottles and trash
  • be prepared to begin work at scheduled time
