The Server Assistant position at Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia is essential to delivering the exemplary dining experiences the brand is known for. This role supports the restaurant service team by maintaining cleanliness, readiness, and presentation of service areas to the highest standards. By working closely with Food Servers and restaurant leadership, the Server Assistant ensures tables are properly set, guest needs are anticipated, and service runs smoothly. This role requires diligence, a keen eye for detail, and a warm, empathetic approach to guest interactions.

In this position, the Server Assistant will assist in preparing, clearing, and resetting tables; greet guests and fulfill basic service requests such as providing water and bread; maintain stock of linens, china, glassware, and silverware; support select food and beverage deliveries; and work collaboratively with team members to enhance guest satisfaction. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred
  • one year of restaurant, hospitality, food service, or related experience is preferred
  • strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
  • ability to carry and balance serving trays and lift up to 40 pounds
  • positive attitude, teamwork mindset, and commitment to guest satisfaction
  • ability to obtain any required food handling or alcohol service certifications required by local regulations

  • Assist Food Servers by preparing, clearing, and resetting tables efficiently and discreetly
  • greet guests and provide water, bread, and other service amenities according to service standards
  • anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests and concerns
  • stock and replenish linens, china, glassware, silverware, and other restaurant supplies
  • assist with the preparation and delivery of select food and beverage items
  • set up, maintain, and break down buffet stations and restaurant service areas
  • maintain cleanliness and organization throughout front- and back-of-house operations
  • work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to deliver seamless guest experiences
