We are currently seeking a Server Assistant who will play a vital role in supporting our restaurant service team. This individual will help to deliver a seamless and elevated dining experience that aligns with Hotel Drover's Legendary Service standards. The Server Assistant is responsible for maintaining the polished, warm, and authentic atmosphere for which Hotel Drover is known. Essential functions of the role include assisting servers with front-of-house operations, efficiently clearing and resetting tables, refilling beverages, and anticipating guest needs. This position requires excellent communication skills to coordinate service effectively with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff, ensuring that all guests receive attentive service from start to finish.

Beyond these duties, the Server Assistant will maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, assist with polishing and restocking necessary dining items such as glassware and silverware, and contribute to the development and implementation of cleaning and sanitation procedures alongside the Executive Steward. The role demands physical stamina, including the ability to stand and move continuously throughout shifts, as well as the capability to carry and handle weights up to 50 pounds with assistance. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable working in fast-paced, high-volume environments and adaptable to varying temperature conditions. Job Requirements

Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and respectfully
Ability to multitask and maintain composure in a high-energy environment
Flexible schedule - must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously for extended periods (entire shift)
Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull, and move up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs with assistance
Frequent bending, reaching, and handling of trays, glassware, and supplies
Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-volume environments and navigating between dining and kitchen areas
Comfortable working in hot/cold environments (e.g., kitchen, walk-ins)

Previous hotel or hospitality experience
Knowledge of basic food and beverage service standards

Strong knowledge of the City of Fort Worth and other parts of the DFW metropolitan area

Job Duties

Assist servers in providing exceptional guest service by supporting all aspects of front-of-house operations
Clear, clean, and reset tables quickly and efficiently to ensure smooth seating transitions
Refill water glasses, deliver bread or additional items as directed, and anticipate guest needs
Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to coordinate service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, including server stations, beverage stations, and dining spaces
Assist with polishing and restocking glassware, silverware, and china as needed
Ensure all service areas are fully stocked before, during, and after service periods
Work with the Executive Steward to develop and implement new cleaning and sanitation procedures
Follow all safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards set by the Food + Beverage department
All other duties as assigned
