St. Regis Hotels & Resorts is a distinguished luxury hotel brand that combines timeless glamour with a forward-thinking spirit, offering exceptional experiences in more than 50 premier locations worldwide. Founded in the early 20th century with the debut of the St. Regis hotel in New York by John Jacob Astor IV, the brand has maintained an unwavering commitment to delivering unparalleled service that anticipates the needs of its guests. This dedication is reflected through a team of gracious hosts who blend classic sophistication with modern sensibility and offer exclusive butler service to ensure every guest experience is meticulously crafted.
St. Regis at Bal Harbour, Florida, located at 9703 Collins Ave, is part of this prestigious portfolio under Marriott International. Marriott International is a globally recognized hospitality leader committed to fostering an inclusive workplace where diversity is celebrated, and equal employment opportunities are provided. The company values the strengths derived from the diverse backgrounds, talents, and experiences of its associates and maintains a non-discriminatory policy in compliance with applicable laws.
The Private Dining team at St. Regis Bal Harbour is currently seeking a dedicated Food and Beverage Service team member for a full-time, non-management role. This position is essential for delivering professional, courteous, and efficient food and beverage service to guests in private dining settings. The role involves maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation, setting and clearing tables, assisting servers, and ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed throughout service.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for a wide array of duties including greeting guests warmly by name whenever possible, serving water, bread, and coffee, and stacking trays for efficient clearing by servers. The role requires the ability to perform closing duties such as storing reusable goods, cleaning equipment and areas, restocking items, securing refrigerators, turning off lights, and completing daily cleaning checklists. The position also demands maintaining cleanliness in work areas throughout the day, inspecting porcelain, glassware, and silverware for quality and presentation prior to use, and adhering to health and safety standards.
Working at St. Regis means upholding company policies and procedures related to safety, maintaining a professional and neat appearance in uniform, protecting company confidential information, and safeguarding company assets. The successful candidate will be proactive in anticipating guest service needs, providing attentive and sincere service, and fostering positive working relationships within the team to support shared goals.
Physically, this role involves extended periods of standing, sitting, or walking, as well as the ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. Candidates must also be able to navigate uneven or slippery surfaces, stairs, and ramps, and perform movements including reaching overhead and below the knees. This position requires fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination to manipulate objects of various sizes and weights.
A key advantage is the opportunity to join a world-class brand recognized for its dedication to luxury hospitality and servant leadership. Associates at St. Regis are encouraged to grow professionally, realize their purpose, and become their best selves while making meaningful contributions to an extraordinary team environment. This full-time role offers a unique gateway into the prestigious St. Regis brand under the Marriott International umbrella, known for its supportive culture and commitment to excellence in service.
