The Server Assistant role is a vital part of the restaurant team, responsible for supporting the wait staff by promptly delivering food items, clearing and resetting tables, and maintaining the service areas to ensure smooth operations. This position demands attentiveness to guest needs, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Job Duties
- Promptly clear, clean and set-up tables, chairs, linens, china, glass, and silverware for service in a discreet manner
- Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests
- Assist in stocking linens, china, glass, silver, and food items for service
- assist in preparation of smaller items such as toast, soup, or beverages
- Breakdown, clean and set-up side stations and back of house areas
