At Four Seasons, we believe in recognizing a familiar face, welcoming a new one, and treating everyone we meet the way we would want to be treated ourselves. Whether you work with us, stay with us, live with us, or discover with us, we believe our purpose is to create impressions that will stay with you for a lifetime. It comes from our belief that life is richer when we truly connect to the people and the world around us.
Located in the heart of Seattle, Four Seasons Hotel Seattle presents a sleek urban retreat in the Pacific Northwest. Surrounded by snow-capped mountain peaks, deep-blue waters, and expansive evergreen forests, Seattle offers a unique blend of wild, natural beauty and trendy urban experiences. Our hotel places guests in the vibrant downtown area, with the Seattle Art Museum nearby, the iconic Pike Place Market just steps away, and the shimmering waters of Elliott Bay to the west. Guests can wake each morning to a fresh cup of coffee delivered directly to their room, explore diverse neighborhoods and craft breweries, or spend the day hiking Mount Rainier or kayaking on Lake Union. Dining at our flagship restaurant, Goldfinch Tavern, an Ethan Stowell Restaurant, offers guests a chance to indulge in the finest local flavors prepared by talented chefs.
We are currently seeking a Server Assistant to join our team at Goldfinch Tavern. This role is ideal for an individual who shares our passion for excellence and has a genuine enthusiasm for creating unparalleled dining experiences. As a Server Assistant, you will be part of a dynamic and award-winning team dedicated to delivering exceptional service to both our restaurant and hotel guests. This position reports directly to the Goldfinch Tavern management team and requires U.S. work authorization.
The Server Assistant's role is integral to the smooth functioning of the dining experience, requiring ownership of duties, hard work, and discipline. Candidates must be proactive in anticipating the needs of guests and coworkers instantaneously, ensuring that tables are cleared efficiently, and the dining environment is pristine. You will assist with food delivery, provide eloquent and synchronized descriptions of menu items, and support bartenders and cocktail servers, which demands a broad understanding of cocktails.
This position offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals who possess a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a generous, uplifting team approach. The role demands energy, composure under pressure, excellent interpersonal skills, and the physical capability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds. Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory. The position offers a competitive compensation rate of $21.30 per hour, plus applicable service charge percentages, along with an impressive benefits package including paid time off, medical and dental insurance, retirement savings plans, complimentary meals, and more.
