The Server Assistant role at Tom's Watch Bar is a pivotal position that supports the efficient operation of the front-of-house team. This role primarily involves assisting servers by delivering food to guests, responding promptly to their requests, and maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of tables for arriving patrons. The Server Assistant helps ensure a smooth, seamless dining experience by clearing dirty plates, utensils, and glassware from tables, transporting these items to the kitchen, and preparing tables by cleaning spills, replacing linens, and setting up necessary tableware and condiments.

Additionally, the Server Assistant is responsible for responding to guest requests and communicating any complaints to management, arranging tables and chairs for larger groups, and ensuring that the server station is fully stocked with essential restaurant supplies. This role demands physical stamina, the ability to perform repetitive bending, lifting (up to 35 lbs), and standing for extended periods in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should have previous restaurant experience, strong communication skills, and the capacity to work well under pressure with the front-of-house team.
