We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Busser to join our front of house team. The Busser is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in the dining areas, including tables, chairs, and floors throughout the shift. This role supports servers and other service staff by clearing tables, refilling drinks like soda, iced tea, and water, and assisting with the setup and breakdown of tables for all parties, including large groups. You will ensure that the sushi bar and lounge areas are tidy and ready to welcome new guests. Your contributions will be key to maintaining a smooth flow of service and delivering an outstanding dining experience.
The ideal candidate for this position will have good communication skills to coordinate effectively with hosts, servers, and management. You will be tasked with handling customer inquiries courteously and managing routine tasks such as refilling soy bottles and ensuring restroom cleanliness. Job Duties
- maintains cleanliness and sanitation of tables, chairs, and floors
- maintains cleanliness and organization of service and bus stations
- refills soy bottles and keeps them clean
- communicates and assists hosts with table setup and breakdown
- refills soda, iced tea, and water upon request
- removes dirty dishes and debris from tables
- returns dirty dishes and glassware to dishwashing or bar area
- checks and maintains restroom cleanliness
- reports restroom problems to management
- assists with spills to ensure safety
- leaves restaurant in clean condition at end of shift
- assists customers with inquiries
- removes trash and breaks down boxes
- performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
