We are currently looking for a Server Assistant who will play a vital role in supporting the restaurant team to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This position is essential in enhancing the overall guest experience by preparing dining areas to be guest-ready, replenishing buffet items, delivering food orders promptly, and providing a warm greeting and seating assistance to guests when needed. The Server Assistant will work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to maintain cleanliness, organization, and high hospitality standards throughout the restaurant. This role requires someone who is reliable, flexible, and committed to teamwork, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
As a Server Assistant, you will be responsible for a range of duties including clearing and resetting tables efficiently, monitoring buffet stations to ensure they are well-stocked and visually appealing, delivering food orders accurately, and assisting with reservations and waitlists. You will also be tasked with keeping service areas such as side stations, beverage stations, and bussing stations organized and clean according to strict health, safety, and sanitation guidelines. Special requests or additional tasks assigned by supervisors will also be part of your daily responsibilities, contributing to the seamless operation of the restaurant.
In this role, strong communication and teamwork skills are crucial, alongside a friendly and professional demeanor. Job Duties
- Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment
- Monitor buffet stations replenish items uphold cleanliness and presentation standards and assist guests as needed
- Deliver food orders promptly and accurately ensuring proper presentation and plate placement
- Greet and seat guests assist with reservations and waitlists and provide host support as required
- Collaborate with servers kitchen staff and management to maintain high service standards
- Keep service areas including side stations beverage stations and bussing stations organized and clean
- Adhere to all health safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with special requests and tasks assigned by supervisors to ensure smooth restaurant operations
- Other duties as assigned
