The current opening is for a Housekeeper/Server position within one of Provincial’s vibrant communities. This unique role combines responsibilities in housekeeping and dining services, essential to maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and team members. As a Housekeeper/Server, the individual will play a key role in ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of the community by performing cleaning tasks and assisting with food service operations.

The job involves comprehensive housekeeping duties such as cleaning apartments, common areas, offices, restrooms, and fixtures; maintaining floors, furniture, and equipment; managing the community laundry; and handling cleaning chemicals safely. On the dining service side, the responsibilities include serving meals with proper food-handling techniques, taking meal orders, ensuring guest satisfaction, maintaining cleanliness in dining areas, and assisting with dining room setup and resetting.

Candidates ideal for this role are those with a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred), experience in housekeeping and/or fine dining, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and multitask effectively. A passion for working with a senior population is essential. Physically, the job requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds, as well as frequent standing, walking, and reaching. The work environment is primarily indoors, climate-controlled, with some exposure to cleaning chemicals and unpleasant odors.

This rewarding career opportunity is perfect for individuals who wish to have a direct and positive impact on the lives of others within a supportive, community-focused setting.
