In this role, you will be responsible for greeting customers warmly, accurately taking their orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, preparing and serving food according to strict safety and sanitation standards, and efficiently managing payments. You'll also engage customers by upselling menu items, enhancing both their dining experience and increasing sales. Your duties extend to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation, bussing tables, assisting with timely food delivery, and supporting your team during busy periods. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a food service or retail environment preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous but not mandatory

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants is preferred but not required
  • Enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Basic math skills for cash handling retail math and order calculations
  • Knowledge of food safety standards sanitation practices and proper food handling procedures
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Willingness to learn is key

Job Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
  • Prepare and serve food items in accordance with safety and sanitation standards including basic food preparation and handling
  • Manage cashier duties by processing payments accurately handling cash and credit transactions and providing change with precision
  • Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales demonstrating excellent sales techniques
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas including bussing tables cleaning food prep stations and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
  • Assist in food delivery from kitchen to customers promptly while ensuring quality presentation
  • Support team members by managing time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service and customer satisfaction
