Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a food service or retail environment preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous but not mandatory
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants is preferred but not required
- Enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic math skills for cash handling retail math and order calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards sanitation practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not mandatory
- Willingness to learn is key
Job Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Prepare and serve food items in accordance with safety and sanitation standards including basic food preparation and handling
- Manage cashier duties by processing payments accurately handling cash and credit transactions and providing change with precision
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales demonstrating excellent sales techniques
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas including bussing tables cleaning food prep stations and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist in food delivery from kitchen to customers promptly while ensuring quality presentation
- Support team members by managing time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service and customer satisfaction
