The role of Server at Arrow Senior Living is a key position within the culinary team, offering full-time employment with a starting wage of $18 per hour. The server works a schedule from Tuesday to Saturday, 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, supporting meal services and creating a positive dining experience for residents. This position is not just about serving food but about being an integral part of the community life by building rapport with residents, ensuring they feel welcomed and cared for during their dining experience. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least sixteen years of age
  • Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of eighth-grade proficiency
  • Must possess a positive and energetic attitude
  • Must be physically active, able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day
  • Must be able to frequently lift and/or move items up to fifty pounds
  • Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after falls
  • Must have a clear criminal background

Job Qualifications

  • At least 16 years of age
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at an eighth-grade proficiency level
  • Positive and energetic attitude
  • Experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
  • Ability to assist residents physically and provide attentive care
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Criminal background clearance

Job Duties

  • Greet residents and make them feel welcome
  • Be present in the dining room, mingle and foster an environment for resident connection
  • Prepare tables, salads, and roll silverware for meal service
  • Buss tables and maintain cleanliness by sweeping floors
  • Communicate with supervisors and wellness staff about residents' dietary habits and attendance
  • Assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after falls
  • Promote a friendly and energetic atmosphere during meal times
