The Server position within Benchmark's Dining Services department plays a crucial role in maintaining the comfort and satisfaction of residents through attentive service and efficient meal delivery. Reporting directly to the Dining Room Manager, the Server is responsible for presenting and serving meals and beverages in a timely, professional manner aligned with Benchmark’s high standards. This role is non-exempt and focuses on ensuring residents are properly nourished and their dietary needs met, with a strong emphasis on hygiene, safety, and overall dining experience. The Server assists in managing dining supply levels, preparing dining areas, and adhering closely to health guidelines related to food preparation and service. This position requires excellent communication skills to coordinate between residents, kitchen staff, and management, ultimately supporting a harmonious dining environment.

This role requires the Server to be familiar with dietary procedures and health department regulations, and to be capable of assisting residents with meal selections, especially when special needs or assistance are involved. Carrying out routine cleaning and sanitation tasks to uphold cleanliness and safety standards is also a key component of the job.
