The available role is for a part-time Server in the culinary team at Friendship Village, offering a flexible schedule with no late-night shifts and a competitive starting wage of $15.00 per hour. This position is crucial in delivering high-quality dining service to residents in the community’s dining rooms. The Server plays an essential role in enriching the dining experience by providing courteous and attentive table service, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and ensuring that meal service runs smoothly. Job Requirements

  • Minimum completion of sophomore year in high school
  • experience waiting tables preferred but not required
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to interact kindly and professionally with seniors
  • availability to work flexible hours
  • willingness to comply with vaccination status inquiries including MMR, chicken pox, hepatitis, and flu vaccines as applicable

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum completion of sophomore year in high school required
  • experience waiting tables in a hotel, restaurant or club with fine dining preferred
  • will train
  • ability to interpret and explain menu, refer or answer questions, coordinate meal service process and understands requests

Job Duties

  • Sets tables and maintain workstations in proper order
  • takes orders, provides service and requested items both graciously and courteously
  • clears dishes from tables during and after meal service
