The Server role at Red Lobster is vital to delivering the exceptional dining experience that guests expect. Servers act as the frontline ambassadors of the restaurant, providing friendly, efficient service with a focus on guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include greeting and welcoming guests with a genuine smile, suggesting beverages, appetizers, and desserts to enhance the dining experience, accurately taking and entering food and drink orders into the POS system, and ensuring timely delivery of orders. Servers must continuously check on guests to offer beverage refills while clearing unused items promptly. They also handle bill presentation and payment settlement courteously, inviting guests to return for future visits. Strict adherence to food safety protocols is essential to maintain health standards. This position requires stamina to stand for shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours, physical ability to bend, reach, crouch, and safely lift up to 30 pounds, and the capacity to multitask effectively within a team environment.
