The Server position at NEXDINE Hospitality in Overland Park, KS, offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and dedicated team committed to delivering best-in-class dining experiences. This role is essential in fostering a hospitable and welcoming environment by engaging with residents and guests to provide attentive and exemplary service. The Server, also known as the Guest Experience Ambassador, reports directly to the Director of Dining Services and is responsible for ensuring all food and beverage services meet the highest standards. Scheduled shifts range from 7:00am to 3:00pm and 4:00pm to 8:00pm, with work hours varying from part-time (12 hours) up to full-time (40 hours) weekly. The position offers competitive hourly pay starting at $17.00, with an additional $2.50 shift differential for weekend shifts on Saturdays and Sundays.

In this role, the Server is expected to embody a spirit of hospitality in every interaction, bringing warmth and professionalism to each dining experience. Responsibilities include leading food and beverage service, especially catering to specialty diets, and communicating menu offerings with clarity and enthusiasm. Servers engage directly with residents to understand and fulfill their dining preferences, promoting satisfaction and comfort. They are also tasked with preparing service areas, ensuring cleanliness, and providing support to culinary staff when needed. The job requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to handle physical demands such as standing for extended periods, lifting up to 40 pounds, and safely operating kitchen equipment.
