We are currently seeking high-energy and professional Servers to join our team. This role is essential to the overall customer experience, serving as the face of the restaurant while ensuring guests receive prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable service. Servers are responsible for taking food and beverage orders, introducing daily specials and limited-time offers, and maintaining an engaging interaction with customers to guarantee they leave with "Panza Llena, Corazon Contento®" – a phrase that reflects both a full belly and a happy heart. This position demands excellent communication skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment, and a professional yet welcoming attitude. The server role is critical in upholding the restaurant’s alcohol service policies, food safety procedures, and cleanliness standards, contributing to the overall success of the establishment. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • food handler certificate
  • Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) certification
  • ability to speak, write and understand simple instructions in English
  • must be a team player and customer service oriented
  • ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
  • familiarity with POS system preferred
  • physical ability to stand and walk on uneven, slippery, or wet surfaces for at least 8 consecutive hours
  • ability to speak and listen in-person and through radio communication for long periods
  • capability to lift, stoop, kneel, bend, push, pull up to 25 pounds, and carry a full service tray for extended periods
  • ability to observe customers clearly from up to 100 feet
  • willing to work in a fast-paced, moderate noise, and high customer traffic environment with exposure to cleaning solutions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • ability to speak, write and understand simple instructions in English
  • Spanish-speaking is a plus, but not required
  • must have a Food Handler Certificate and be Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) Certified
  • must be a team player and customer service oriented
  • ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
  • familiarity with POS system preferred
  • basic computer skills is a plus

Job Duties

  • Maintains a professional and welcoming attitude while at work
  • adheres to the company’s alcohol service policy, safety procedures and food and beverage policies
  • answers customer questions and makes recommendations for all menu items
  • takes customer food and drink orders accurately and promptly
  • enters food and beverage orders into the point of sale (POS) system
  • properly processes customers’ payments and provides accurate change
  • ensures the balance of the bank at the end of the shift
  • handles customer complaints or problems in a positive, courteous manner
  • maintains a high level of cleanliness throughout the restaurant
  • completes all opening and closing duties and other server duties thoroughly and efficiently
