Job Description

Gallaher Signature Living is a distinguished senior living company dedicated to redefining the experience of aging with dignity, compassion, and personalized care. Established with a legacy of elegance and excellence, Gallaher Signature Living goes beyond traditional senior living by offering thoughtfully designed communities that support active adults through Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care. With multiple locations across California including Santa Rosa, Alameda, Moorpark, and Covina, the company is committed to providing high-quality services that enrich the daily lives of its residents and foster meaningful connections within the community. Their support office is based in Windsor, California, serving as the operational hub for their expanding network of residential communities. As part of their mission, Gallaher Signature Living emphasizes boutique hospitality standards, ensuring a warm, welcoming, and safe environment where residents receive top-tier care and service.

The role of Server at Gallaher Signature Living aligns with this mission by delivering an elevated dining experience that caters to the needs and preferences of residents, their family members, and guests. Servers play a crucial role in maintaining the company’s reputation for refined and professional food and beverage service within a safe and sanitary dining environment. The Server position is a full-time role offering a competitive salary range between $18.75 and $21.50 per hour. This role is essential in ensuring guest satisfaction through attentive, gracious service that honors each individual’s dignity and preferences.

Servers are responsible for a variety of duties encompassing meal service, beverage preparation, and stock management, adhering to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations including Title 22. They prepare and replenish beverages including water, coffee, tea, soda, wine, beer, and cocktails with attention to proper presentation and responsible alcohol service standards. The Server accurately takes and processes food and beverage orders using the Point of Sale (POS) system, ensuring accuracy in special requests, dietary needs, and menu substitutions. Knowledge of menus, ingredients, and preparation methods is vital for assisting residents and guests confidently and professionally. Beyond serving meals and drinks, Servers maintain the dining environment by setting and resetting tables to fine-dining standards, keeping service areas clean, and supporting kitchen operations when necessary.

Additionally, Servers at Gallaher Signature Living engage positively with residents, demonstrating warmth, respect, and attentiveness, and respond thoughtfully to individual preferences and needs. They address any questions or concerns professionally and escalate issues to leadership when necessary. The role also involves supporting the community’s hospitality and marketing efforts during tours, events, and interactions with prospective residents and guests. Collaboration and teamwork are emphasized to ensure a seamless resident experience with safety protocols strictly adhered to, including illness and injury prevention, emergency preparedness, and resident elopement prevention.

The Server position requires at least 18 years of age, with preference given to individuals who have prior experience in food and beverage service, preferably within hospitality or fine-dining contexts. Applicants should have strong communication skills, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and a compassionate approach toward older adults including those with cognitive impairments. Certification such as Food Handler’s Permit and First Aid/CPR is required or must be obtainable. Gallaher Signature Living also provides extensive training and career growth opportunities, underscoring their commitment to employee development and job satisfaction.

In summary, joining Gallaher Signature Living as a Server means becoming part of a dynamic and compassionate team focused on delivering unparalleled hospitality and personalized care in an exquisite community setting. Prospective team members can look forward to a rewarding career path complemented by comprehensive benefits, a supportive work environment, and the opportunity to positively impact the lives of seniors in a meaningful way.
