Known for its welcoming environment and commitment to excellence, the club places a high value on delivering outstanding experiences through quality service and well-maintained facilities. The club hosts a variety of events and activities that encourage community engagement and provide a memorable experience for members of all ages.
The role of Server at NOGC is integral to maintaining the high standard of hospitality that the club is known for. This position involves more than just serving food and beverages; it is about creating an inviting and friendly atmosphere where members feel at home. Servers at NOGC are expected to be knowledgeable about the food and beverage menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and proper service techniques. They play a key role in the daily setup and breakdown of the dining area, ensuring that everything is presentable and meets the club’s standards throughout the day. Furthermore, servers are responsible for monitoring service areas to maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance with relevant codes.
Candidates will be engaged in direct interaction with members, providing warm greetings, seating members, and anticipating their needs to deliver attentive and personalized service. Flexibility is critical as servers are cross-trained to assist with member events in addition to regular dining service. The role also includes administrative duties such as preparing server check-out reports and managing accurate tip outs. As part of the Food and Beverage team, servers participate in pre-shift meetings, training sessions, and contribute feedback based on guest comments or complaints to foster continuous improvement.
This position requires a detail-oriented and proactive team player who can thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional and polished appearance. NOGC values employees who are passionate about food and beverage service and eager to develop their skills through the club's growth and development opportunities. The club offers a competitive compensation package and numerous benefits, including scholarship opportunities, flexible scheduling, holiday pay, complimentary daily staff meals, and select access to the golf course.
Joining NOGC as a server means becoming part of a dedicated team focused on enhancing member experiences and supporting a vibrant, family-friendly community.
