Job Description

Brandon Wilde is a distinguished Life Plan Community located on a stunning 73-acre campus in Evans, Georgia. The community prides itself on offering an exceptional living experience for over 400 seniors, aiming to enrich their lives by providing supportive, engaging, and high-quality senior living services. At Brandon Wilde, the focus is not just on maintaining a residential facility but on creating an enriching environment where seniors can thrive, feel valued, and enjoy fulfilling lives. The community is deeply committed to investing in the future of senior living, which includes investing in its employees and fostering a workplace culture that emphasizes respect, compassion, and exceptional service. Employees at Brandon Wilde have the unique opportunity to be part of a company that values their contributions and helps them grow professionally and personally.

The role of Server at Brandon Wilde is a key position within their culinary team, dedicated to delivering hospitality-focused service to residents. This position is integral in ensuring that dining experiences exceed the expectations of residents and their families through meticulous service and attention to detail. The Server will perform a variety of hands-on duties that revolve around food service, dining room presentation, and customer interaction. This role requires individuals to be energetic, courteous, and compassionate, especially when serving the senior population, who often appreciate personalized, respectful service that enhances their dining experience.

This is a position available in multiple shifts, including full-time options from early morning to mid-afternoon and late morning to evening hours, as well as part-time evening shifts – all with weekend availability. Pay for the Server position is competitive, with rates of up to $13 per hour, alongside numerous benefits designed to support employee well-being and job satisfaction. Full-time employees have access to comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan with company matching, paid time off, and paid holidays. Additionally, the community offers free parking, an employee assistance program, daily pay opportunities, resident-sponsored educational scholarships, and facilities such as an on-site gym and Olympic-sized swimming pool.

The Server's responsibilities include maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization within the dining areas; adhering strictly to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards; ensuring the dining room is visually appealing and welcoming; managing the setup and upkeep of tables and workstations; taking orders accurately and delivering service courteously; addressing questions about menu items knowledgeably; and providing service that promotes an inviting and hospitable dining atmosphere. The role combines the practical aspects of food service with the empathy and interpersonal skills necessary to connect meaningfully with the senior residents they serve.

Brandon Wilde values candidates who have completed at least their junior year of high school and who have prior experience in food service or senior care, though training and a welcoming attitude are highly emphasized for success. Employees are encouraged to contribute their best efforts toward not just performing their job duties but being part of an extraordinary community focused on enriching the lives of seniors. Moreover, all new hires must successfully pass a comprehensive pre-employment screening process that includes fitness for duty physicals, criminal background checks, drug testing, and reference verification, ensuring a safe and trustworthy environment for residents and staff alike.

Joining Brandon Wilde means becoming part of a team dedicated to outstanding senior care and hospitality. Those who thrive in this role will find a supportive employer invested in their growth, a fulfilling job that extends beyond routine tasks, and an opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of seniors every day.
