The Server position at Din Tai Fung plays a crucial role in enhancing the dining experience for its guests by providing attentive and personalized service. Servers are responsible for managing their assigned tables, guiding guests through the menu thoughtfully, taking accurate food and beverage orders, and ensuring each dish is presented with care and attention to detail. Additionally, servers support the restaurant’s operation by assisting with runner and busser duties as needed to maintain a smooth service flow.

This part-time role is located in Portland, Oregon, at the 700 SW 5th Ave Suite 1040 (Pioneer Place) location, providing flexible work schedules across opening, closing, weekday, and weekend shifts. Pay for servers includes a base rate of $16.80 per hour plus estimated tips ranging from $26.25 to $28.25 per hour, reflecting the rewarding earning potential of this position.

New hires undergo an in-depth training program covering all essential functions of the server role, ensuring that all team members are well-prepared to meet Din Tai Fung’s high standards of service excellence.
