This dedication extends to a strong company culture that values passion, quality, and memorable moments, making Red Lobster a beloved dining destination for seafood enthusiasts and families alike.
The position available is for a Server, a vital role within the restaurant team that ensures guests receive outstanding service from the moment they are seated until their dining experience is complete. This full-time or part-time role offers competitive weekly pay, flexible scheduling, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision insurance options starting at less than ten dollars per week, life and short-term disability insurance, and voluntary benefits. Additionally, employees benefit from a 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer contributions after one year of service, anniversary pay for eligible staff, discounted meals during shifts, and a 25% discount when dining as a guest. Red Lobster also invests in employee development through training programs and career advancement opportunities.
As a Server at Red Lobster, you will be the friendly face guests encounter first. Your responsibilities include warmly greeting customers, accurately taking food and beverage orders using the POS system, suggesting upsells such as drinks, appetizers, and desserts to enhance the dining experience, and promptly delivering orders. Ensuring guests feel well cared for involves offering drink refills, clearing away unused items, and managing bills with a thankful attitude that invites customers to return. Adherence to all food safety standards is mandatory, maintaining a clean and safe dining environment for both guests and staff.
Physical demands include the ability to stand for 8 to 12-hour shifts, safely lift up to 30 pounds, and perform movements such as bending, reaching, and crouching. Teamwork, attention to detail, and multitasking skills are essential to thriving in this dynamic work environment. Red Lobster embraces diversity and provides equal opportunity employment, fostering a welcoming workplace for all individuals regardless of age, race, gender identity, or other protected characteristics.
This role represents a great opportunity for individuals passionate about customer service and the hospitality industry who seek a rewarding work environment with potential for growth. Whether you are beginning your career or looking to expand your skills in a supportive and fast-paced setting, joining the Red Lobster family means becoming part of a longstanding tradition focused on quality, community, and shared success.
