The Ashford on Broad is one of the Wallick Senior Living communities, known for its welcoming atmosphere and commitment to enhancing the quality of life for seniors through personalized care and support. As a 100% employee-owned company, Wallick Senior Living invests in its people and fosters a supportive, team-oriented environment where every associate plays a key role in helping residents maintain independence and enjoy meaningful, engaged lives.
The Server position at The Ashford on Broad is a part-time role offering a pay rate of $14.00 per hour. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about contributing to a warm, community-focused senior living environment. Servers at Wallick Senior Living are essential in delivering an exceptional dining experience that goes beyond meals to include care, respect, and attention to each resident’s unique needs. The Server is responsible for serving meals in the dining room while adhering to proper etiquette, managing resident meal requests during service, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area before and after each meal. Additionally, maintaining beverages such as juice, coffee, and iced tea, as well as ensuring sufficient utensils and dishware, are key responsibilities.
This position not only supports residents’ nutritional needs but also helps foster a sense of community and belonging. Servers contribute to the pleasant dining atmosphere, helping residents feel valued and cared for throughout their day. The work culture at Wallick Senior Living emphasizes respect, collaboration, and inclusion, ensuring employees feel welcomed and empowered to bring their authentic selves to work. The company offers unique benefits such as pay-on-demand, health, dental and vision insurance effective within two weeks, paid parental leave, a 401K plan, and gym membership reimbursement. Joining Wallick Senior Living means becoming part of an employee-owned organization with a focus on both resident well-being and employee financial futures. The Server role provides more than a job—it offers a chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors while enjoying a supportive workplace and comprehensive benefits. The role also requires basic communication and math skills, and previous experience as a waiter is preferred but not required. This position requires passing a pre-employment background check and drug screening, ensuring a safe environment for all.
If you are dedicated to delivering exceptional service in a caring community environment and eager to contribute to an employee-owned organization that values diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, this Server opportunity at The Ashford on Broad is a perfect fit.
