Job Duties

  • Greet guests promptly, introduce yourself, and create a welcoming first impression
  • Explain menu items, daily specials, ingredients, and preparation methods
  • answer questions and accommodate reasonable dietary requests
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system
  • verify modifiers and timing
  • Coordinate with kitchen and bar to ensure correct, timely delivery of orders

  • Process payments accurately (cash and credit), follow cash-handling procedures, and provide receipts/change as needed

  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and allergy awareness practices
  • comply with responsible alcohol service requirements and check IDs when required
  • Support teamwork by assisting hosts, bussers, bartenders, and fellow servers during peak periods
  • Complete opening/side-work/closing duties (stocking, rolling silverware, condiments, cleaning, etc.)
  • Report guest concerns, incidents, and maintenance needs to a manager promptly
