One of Discovery Land Company's remarkable properties, Atlantic Fields Club, is located just outside Hobe Sound, Florida. This community beautifully blends the charm of Old Florida with a relaxed, carefree ambiance. Spanning 1,500 acres, Atlantic Fields offers its members exceptional amenities such as a Tom Fazio-designed golf course, ocean adventures, equestrian facilities, on-site dining options, wellness centers, and much more. Atlantic Fields stands as a pinnacle of luxurious living where members can enjoy both the natural beauty and recreational opportunities that South Florida affords while being part of a close-knit, intimate community.
The Server role at Atlantic Fields Club plays a pivotal part within the Food and Beverage Service Department by delivering extraordinary dining experiences that uphold the high standards of the club and Discovery Land Company. This position is based at the Atlantic Fields property in Florida and is essential in creating memorable moments for members and guests through warm, genuine hospitality and attentive service. Serving in both casual and fine dining settings, the Server must have a thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, daily specials, and the club's premium beverage offerings such as cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits.
As a Server, you will be entrusted with not only providing excellent service but also anticipating member preferences, recommending personalized food and beverage pairings, and ensuring orders are accurate and complete. The ability to enter transactions flawlessly using the TEI point-of-sale system, manage payments securely, and uphold food safety and sanitation standards is critical. The role entails maintaining cleanliness and organization at workstations, conducting inventories, performing opening and closing duties, and promptly communicating with management about supply or maintenance needs.
Candidates for this role should have at least one year of serving experience in full-service hospitality environments such as luxury private clubs, high-end restaurants, resorts, or hotels. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with knowledge of HACCP principles and local food safety regulations. The ideal Server will possess strong knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages and demonstrate a passion for delivering exceptional member and guest experiences with attention to detail, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
This position requires a flexible schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as business needs dictate. Being able to work collaboratively with team members, maintain composure during busy periods, and communicate effectively in English are essential attributes. Physical requirements include the ability to stand, walk, and perform moderately strenuous activities such as lifting up to 50 pounds and working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Working at Atlantic Fields offers the unique opportunity to contribute to an elite private club environment that values quality, service, and community. Employees are empowered to use their talents and passions to foster meaningful connections and contribute to the creation of unparalleled dining and recreational experiences. Joining the Discovery family means becoming part of a team dedicated to excellence and memorable hospitality in one of South Florida's premier luxury destinations.
