The Food and Beverage Server position at the JW Marriott in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is a wonderful opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and food service to join the team in a full-time, non-management role. The compensation for this role is $9.33 per hour and is tip eligible, providing additional earning potential. The role requires standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, the ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds, and maintaining a professional appearance while wearing a clean uniform.

As a Food and Beverage Server, you will be the face of JW Marriott’s dining experience. Responsibilities include warmly greeting guests, promptly attending to tables, serving food and beverages with recommendations when necessary, and utilizing the MICROS system to accurately record transactions. You will share your menu knowledge to assist guests with inquiries and special requests, ensure guests' satisfaction with every meal and drink, and complete cleaning and restocking tasks to keep the dining area inviting and well-prepared.

The Hotel values individuals with good conversational skills, a positive attitude, and an outgoing personality. Previous experience as a server is considered a strong advantage but is not mandatory. Training and certification regarding safety will be provided prior to employment, underscoring the company’s commitment to a safe work environment.
