The Server role at Red Lobster is vital in delivering excellent customer service and enhancing each guest's dining experience. Servers are responsible for welcoming and greeting customers with a warm smile, suggesting beverages, appetizers, and desserts to enhance the meal, accurately taking and entering food and drink orders into the POS system, and timely delivery of orders. Servers also ensure that guests are well-attended by offering refills and clearing unused items. They conclude the dining experience by delivering the bill promptly, thanking guests, and inviting them to return. Maintaining all food safety rules and standards is a critical aspect of the role to assure the highest quality and hygiene.

Physical demands include the ability to bend, reach, stoop, and safely carry up to 30 pounds, as well as the capacity to stand for shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours. Candidates must also be authorized to work in the United States and meet the minimum age requirement. This role requires strong teamwork skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Job Duties

  • Welcome customers and greet them with a smile when seated
  • suggest sale of drinks, appetizers, and desserts
  • accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them correctly into the POS system
  • promptly pick up and deliver food orders
  • ensure customers are well attended, offer drink refills, and clear any unused items
  • deliver and settle the bill promptly, thank customers and invite them to return
  • follow all food safety regulations
