As a Server at Red Lobster, you will play a critical role in creating an inviting atmosphere for guests while delivering outstanding service. This role offers competitive hourly wages ranging from $17.13 to $25.00, alongside weekly pay and flexible scheduling options to suit a variety of lifestyles and commitments. Your responsibilities will encompass welcoming guests warmly, suggesting popular beverages and menu items, accurately taking and entering orders into the POS system, and ensuring timely delivery of food and drinks. Maintaining high standards of customer care by checking in with diners, refilling drinks, and clearing tables promptly will be part of your daily duties. Additionally, you will handle billing procedures efficiently and encourage guests to return for future visits. All tasks will be performed while adhering strictly to food safety regulations.

Job Requirements

  • Meet minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States
  • ability to bend, reach, stoop, and safely lift up to 30 pounds
  • capable of standing for 8 to 12 hour shifts
  • ability to work well in a team with attention to detail and multitasking skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work efficiently in a team environment
  • basic knowledge of POS systems

Job Duties

  • Welcome guests and greet them with a smile when seated
  • suggest beverage, appetizer, and dessert sales
  • accurately take food and beverage orders and correctly enter them into the POS system
  • pick up and timely deliver food orders
  • ensure customers are well attended to, offer drink refills, and clear unused items
  • present and settle the bill promptly, thank customers, and invite them to return
  • follow all food safety standards
