This job opportunity is for the role of an experienced server within any of Knott's Berry Farm's dining locations. As a server at Knott's Berry Farm, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences. Job Requirements

Minimum age of 18 years
6+ months of serving experience
Valid Food Handler's card if required by law
Physical ability to carry trays up to 30 lbs
Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays
Ability to pass background check if 18 years or older
Commitment to follow alcohol consumption policies during shifts

Job Qualifications

6+ months minimum serving experience required
Ability to follow proper service standards for casual to formal dining environments
Food Handler's card as applicable by state or provincial law
Ability to memorize complete menu, including modifiers and explain to guests
Ability to balance and transport large trays of food, up to 30 lbs, through a crowded dining room throughout scheduled shift
Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs
Ability to pass a background check if 18 years of age or older

Job Duties

Greet guests, explain menus, answer questions, and take and record guest food and drink orders including special preparation and modification requests and enter that information into the ordering system
Communicate special instructions to kitchen staff as appropriate
Verify food orders are properly plated in accordance with park standards and guest's special requests
Ensure food and beverages are promptly and properly served
Adhere to and enforce policies regarding consumption of alcohol during dining experience
Check back on guests through their dining visit, respond to guests needs and requests, refill drinks and take dessert orders
Process guest checks and accept payment
