The Server position at The Exchange Pub & Kitchen is an engaging and critical role designed for individuals who thrive in a busy, guest-focused setting. Servers at The Exchange are passionate about delivering attentive and friendly service, ensuring that every guest feels valued and satisfied throughout their dining journey. This role requires excellent communication skills, a positive and upbeat demeanor, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

As a Server, you will be the face of the establishment, responsible for greeting guests, describing menu offerings, assisting guests with their culinary and beverage choices, entering orders accurately using both traditional and handheld POS systems, and delivering food and drinks promptly. Servers also play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the dining area, assisting in setting tables and ensuring that all service plates and condiments meet the restaurant's standards.

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a full service, high volume establishment
  • Some Sunday availability necessary
  • Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time
  • Continuous use of hands, arms, bending, reaching, and twisting
  • Ability to carry 35 pounds as needed and carry trays as needed
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Reliable transportation required

  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Willingness to learn POS and hand held POS systems
  • Teamwork skills
  • Available for training prior to floor work
