This particular role is a full-time, non-management Food and Beverage position located at 270 W 43rd St, New York, NY, with pay ranging between $18.31 to $24.42 per hour, including eligibility for tips. As a Food and Beverage team member, you will be the face of Marriott’s hospitality, providing guests with attentive, friendly service that enhances their dining experience. Responsibilities include welcoming guests, serving food and beverages, sharing menu knowledge where appropriate, and ensuring guest satisfaction with prompt and courteous service. You will also operate the MICROS point-of-sale system to accurately register transactions, maintain cleanliness and order at tables, and participate in closing tasks to uphold the high standards of the property.
The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset. Previous experience as a server is highly advantageous but not required, and candidates must be capable of lifting and moving up to 25 pounds as well as standing or walking for extended periods during shifts. A professional appearance, including wearing a clean uniform, is essential, and successful candidates will complete safety training and certification prior to employment. Job Duties
- Welcome guests and attend to tables promptly

- Clean tables, complete closing duties, and restock dishes and supplies
