As part of Erickson Senior Living's extensive network, Avery Point is connected to one of the largest and most respected providers of senior living and health care services in the United States. Erickson Senior Living is dedicated to helping individuals live better lives by offering vibrant lifestyle options, financial stability, and comprehensive health and well-being services for both residents and staff. The community prides itself on fostering a supportive and inclusive work culture that values diversity, inclusion, equity, and belonging. Employees at Avery Point enjoy a work environment that balances professional responsibilities with personal well-being, providing opportunities for growth, learning, and career development within an expanding network of senior living communities.

Avery Point is currently seeking to hire 10 Servers, offering a fantastic entry-level opportunity for individuals eager to launch their careers in hospitality and customer service. These positions provide flexible after-school and weekend hours with no late nights, ensuring that most shifts end by 9:00 p.m. This setup is ideal for those who are looking to gain valuable experience without compromising their personal time or daily routines. The compensation starts at $15 per hour, and pay may be adjusted based on prior experience. No previous experience is required, as comprehensive training is provided to all new hires, emphasizing skill-building and professional growth. Servers at Avery Point will play a crucial role in elevating the dining experience for both residents and guests by becoming experts in the menu and daily specials, engaging residents warmly, and consistently delivering exceptional service. Employees benefit from a variety of perks including free meals during shifts, paid time off according to applicable state laws, and access to onsite medical centers that offer wellness visits and sick care for team members over 18 years old. Additionally, Avery Point supports educational advancement with scholarship opportunities that help qualified employees earn money toward college or trade school education.

The Server role at Avery Point goes beyond basic service tasks; it emphasizes building meaningful connections with residents and guests, understanding their preferences, and personalizing recommendations to enhance their dining experiences. This position encourages a friendly, energetic attitude and strong communication skills, as well as availability during weekdays and weekends. The company is committed to providing a positive workplace free from discrimination or harassment, ensuring equal opportunities for all employees regardless of race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, marital status, veteran status, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other legally protected classifications.
