The Server role at California Pizza Kitchen is designed for enthusiastic individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This position is crucial in delivering the "epic service" that CPK is known for, where every guest feels valued and cared for. Servers at CPK do more than just take orders; they embody the brand's spirit by engaging with guests, sharing their passion for food and drinks, and ensuring every meal is an experience. Responsibilities include practicing safe food handling, being knowledgeable about food allergens, and operating the point-of-sale system accurately. State-mandated beverage service certification is required in applicable states, ensuring compliance and safety in beverage service.

CPK's Servers uphold the service standards known as the CPK High 5: loving CPK and ensuring guests notice; encouraging fun and authenticity among the team; consistently working together to serve guests better; focusing on the details that make service exceptional; and passionately sharing their knowledge about the menu items. Job Requirements

  • previous experience in a food service role preferred
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • compliance with state beverage service certification requirements where applicable
