We are currently seeking a Server to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. This role is integral to delivering outstanding dining experiences to our residents, their families, and guests. The Server is responsible for ensuring that all dining services meet the highest standards of quality and professionalism. Working hours for this position are from 10:30 am to 7:00 pm, offering a consistent schedule for those passionate about working in senior living hospitality.
In this role, the Server will be attentive to the unique needs of seniors, assisting with meal and menu selections while managing special dietary requirements under the guidance of the Culinary Director. You will be responsible for taking accurate food orders, serving meals with proper etiquette, and ensuring that dining areas are clean and welcoming. A significant part of the role involves building genuine connections with residents, making them feel valued and comfortable throughout their dining experience.
The Server will also collaborate closely with other kitchen and dining staff to maintain smooth operations, including assisting with deliveries, stocking, and cleaning activities. Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a positive, professional demeanor are essential. Job Duties
- Take written food orders and serve meals to residents, family members and guests in a professional, efficient and courteous manner ensuring the highest customer satisfaction
- Assist residents with meal/menu selections as necessary or requested
- Use proper etiquette and manners while waiting tables courteously and professionally (serving from the left, clearing used dishes between courses, etc.)
- Review residents’ dietary needs, as outlined by the Culinary Director
- Track resident attendance at meals in a timely manner to the appropriate person
- Ensure that all residents are greeted and seated properly, making extra efforts to integrate new residents making them feel welcome and comfortable
- Ensure a clean sanitary dining area and comply with all policies and procedures regarding the proper handling and serving of food
