Currently, The Village at Gleannloch Farms is seeking a Full-Time Server focused on hospitality to join their Independent Living Dining Room team. This role is integral in delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring that dining experiences meet the highest standards. The Server will work on a rotating shift schedule from Monday to Saturday, earning a salary starting at $12.50 per hour, based on experience. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to engage directly with seniors, providing attentive and courteous service in an inviting dining environment.

The Server’s responsibilities include maintaining impeccable cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in the dining area, adhering strictly to food quality and presentation standards, and ensuring dining room appearance aligns with community standards. Efficiency, speed, and accuracy in service delivery are paramount, as is the ability to set tables properly and maintain orderly workstations. The Server takes guest orders, answers menu questions knowledgeably, and ensures guests receive their meals and any additional requested items graciously.

Beyond basic service, the Server also assists with clearing tables, dishwashing, and resetting tables to prepare for subsequent guests. The role demands a keen understanding of dietary needs and the ability to serve meals in accordance with established policies and procedures. Representing The Village at Gleannloch Farms in a warm and inviting manner, the Server contributes to creating a positive marketing environment through their daily interactions and customer service approach.

Preferred candidates will have prior experience in food service and ideally have experience working with seniors, though this is not mandatory.
