The Server role with Atlas Restaurant Group is central to the dining experience and is designed for individuals who possess a passion for hospitality, multitasking, and working efficiently in fast-paced environments. This position requires servers to create an uncompromising dining experience from the moment guests arrive until they leave, ensuring every interaction is marked by attentiveness, knowledge, and professionalism. The role does not involve any supervisory responsibilities but focuses on the essential duties of engaging guests, answering questions about the menu, conveying orders to the kitchen, and handling transactions accurately. Servers must be knowledgeable about food and beverage offerings, including a passion for tableside service, wine, and craft cocktails which are regarded as a plus.
This position demands strong organizational skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work under pressure alongside a team. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling as shifts may include nights, weekends, and holidays. Job Requirements
- Must have a valid form of identification
- must have the knowledge to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- must have the knowledge to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and tips
- must have the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations
- must be able to learn and utilize Toast Point-of-Sale (POS) and Restaurant365 systems
- basic knowledge of English is highly preferred
- must have the ability to read, understand and follow both verbal and written company directives and initiatives
- must demonstrate knowledge and understanding of government policies and regulations
- must have the ability to effectively answer questions and speak before groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public at restaurant locations
- must have the ability to use common sense to understand and carry out written and oral instructions
- must have the ability to creatively solve problems in a fast paced environment using experience and an outside-the-box mindset
- must be able to stand, walk, reach, handle, manipulate or feel objects, tools or controls, talk and hear, taste and smell regularly
- must be able to frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and occasionally lift or carry up to 50 pounds
- must occasionally sit, climb stairs and/or maintain balance
- must possess close, distance and peripheral vision along with depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
- must have sufficient physical mobility or agility to respond quickly to fire or other emergencies
- must follow policies and procedures, report to work as scheduled, accept responsibility for one's own actions, take initiative to ensure work is completed correctly and in a timely manner without close supervision

Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in the restaurant industry
- high school diploma or equivalent
- knowledge and passion for tableside service, wine and craft cocktails are a plus
- meets state minimum age (18) to serve alcohol
- basic understanding of cleanliness and sanitation standards
- excellent customer service skills with a polite and attentive demeanor
- ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
- able to work in a team serving environment
- may require a food handler's certification depending on local regulations
