The Banquet Server position at Merchants Exchange Productions plays a vital role in bringing these exceptional events to life. Banquet Servers support the event by managing assigned tables, circulating to accommodate all guests, and anticipating their needs with a courteous and professional demeanor. The shifts for this role are flexible, including morning, afternoon, and evening, aligned with the event calendar, and flexibility is highly valued. Servers are entrusted with setting up events, including arranging tables, setting buffets and food displays, and ensuring the perfection of table linens and place settings. They work closely with catering staff to deliver each course swiftly and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality. Responsibilities extend to managing multiple meal choices, taking precise orders, keeping beverage glasses filled, clearing plates promptly, responding to guest inquiries, and assisting with event cleanup and breakdown. The role requires a keen attention to detail, adherence to grooming and appearance standards, and maintaining a clean, safe environment throughout the service.
